Cherilyn Megill is a marketing strategist who believes in the power of connection—between brands and people, shopping centers and communities, strategy and soul. With more than three decades in commercial real estate marketing, she’s led everything from national rebrands and IPO communications to award-winning consumer campaigns at some of the industry’s most recognized lifestyle centers.

After years in the C-suite as Chief Marketing Officer at Phillips Edison & Company—where she helped guide the company through its IPO and led all aspects of brand, PR, events, digital, and internal communications—Cherilyn launched Megill Marketing Group to do what she does best: bring strategy, creativity, and people together to make great things happen.

Her experience spans retail REITs, B2B leasing support, and consumer engagement—from rebranding RPAI during their IPO to launching national initiatives that elevated portfolio visibility and brand value. She’s led high-performing marketing teams and built platforms that give others a voice, including PECO NOW (Networking Opportunities for Women) and PECO MORE (Multicultural Opportunities, Resources and Education).

She’s been honored with ICSC’s prestigious Trustees Distinguished Service Award, numerous ICSC MAXI awards, recognized as a GlobeSt. Woman of Influence, and has twice served as Chair of the ICSC MAXI Awards. But her proudest moments come from mentoring others, building brands with purpose, and creating campaigns that bring people together.

Today, she partners with commercial real estate companies of all sizes—offering fractional CMO services, campaign leadership, brand development, social media strategy, PR consulting, and event planning.
